Handpicked I Sourcing
Growing from a tender plant to a tall sturdy tree, wood is one of nature’s strongest building material. Wood & Metal sources teakwood, rosewood and other varieties sustainably from Government managed, legally owned forests monitored by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC).
Solid wood sourced from Government-approved forests are procured through a bidding process. Certified sustainable wood is identified by its Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification. The authenticity of wood, its age and variations, are all notified before going for further manufacturing to our factory.

Artisanal I Craftsmanship
Crafting wooden interiors and furniture goes through a number of processes, the most significant of them being manufacturing. This takes place in our 3500sqft. factory where artisans, designers, architects and interior decorators use cutting edge machinery and technologies to assist in the handcrafting process.
The process of handcrafting solid wood brings out its best features & experienced artisans know how to draw it out of the material. Our master craftsman ensure that each carefully curated form is imbued with sophistication, stability, and harmony to create one-of-a-kind pieces, of exceptional quality and uniquely conceptualized.
Timeless I Finishes
The lustre and shine of wood, together with its long shelf life is brought out by wood finishing. At Wood & Metal, finishing is as important a process as designing and wood crafting. We ‘finish’ wood to ensure that the natural grain is retained for a long period of time, as well as protect it from the vagaries of the weather.
Our furnitures are made with a variety of sustainable, oil & water-based polishes, adhesives & finishes which when combined with the product ensure a long shelf-life, sturdiness and strength. Every joint and curve is created leveraging the wood’s natural grain and properties, so as to use more of the source material.
